Mini-Cassia Commerce Authority

The Mini-Cassia Commerce Authority (MCCA) is a quasi private-public entity that is designed by statutory authority in the state of Idaho to provide business, industry and the community at large with the needed support via infrastructure, private/public interactions, legislative affairs and policy, community development planning and community outreach. We utilize our ability to reach across and collaborate with all units of state, county, city, and local governments and districts.

MCCA Vision Statement

 MCCA vision is to promote and develop a diversified economic base in our community.

MCCA will be the entity that will provide the physical facilities and infrastructure necessary for business creation and retention that by law is not available to local governing bodies, in order to provide a thriving diversified economic base in the community with emphasis on:

1. Agriculture
2. Services
3. Technology
4. Energy
5. Manufacturing 
6. Use of Natural Resources and Tourism

Philosophy Statement

 Use all of Idaho Code, Title 70, Chapter 22 capabilities to provide assistance to current and prospective businesses.

As a separate body politic, MCCA will cooperate and act in conjunction with other organizations, either public or private, in the development of commerce, industry, manufacturing, services, natural resources, agriculture, livestock, recreation and other economic activity in the state.

Improve, create, and or utilize infrastructures (airport, rail, freeways, and utilities, buildings) to attract those persons or entities that will create commerce so as to:

• Energize the economic engine in the community with an emphasis on diversified long term growth.
• Provide businesses with a competitive advantage.
• Assist organizations from a national, state or regional base who will have an interest in investing in the community and not expecting to only take from the community.
• Assist in the creation of opportunities for future generations to remain in the Mini- Cassia area with competitive salaries.
